BaSiCally man was made powerful and gifted wid strong potentialities of running his home with his hard work.. While a women shud olwez be the supporter and a caring homemaker.. If things wer this way everywhere ther'l b no Mourning en no More brOken homes.. (12 years ago)

@pinkpeals, I agree with service that modern women is one of the primary factor. When i say modern women they are the working/independent women. They say that a mother is the "light of every home" while the father is the "pillar". Some articles says that marriage is like an "exchange of goods and services" but what is happening now is women sometimes have to work due to financial reasons which gives them more confident that they could raise a family alone or without a man on their side, they tend to be the light and the pillar at the same time.. It is like a trend nowadays bcoz young ppl able to adapt with this set up like a normal thing because they see it everywhere..In addition to that divorce is legally practice in some countries, I am not sure but I believe that Philippines is the only country in Asia that divorce is not allowed. (12 years ago)

@phoenix, so whats wrong if this topic has been debated before? I believe that my topic is different from that as i put it in general and not a "DEBATE" besides, different idea sometimes strikes ppl. The replies you have read before doesnt mean that you would see them here.. I didnt copy anyone's topic, for ur info.. (12 years ago)

yeah diz topicz been taken earlier, but this one wil have a slight change in the opinions ... ßasically, people today are being too particularly liberal.. En it seemz negtiv ATTITUDE, en the increasing freedom standardz ar spoiling en ruling da human nature wich otherwise can actually b adaptable, understanding en can b richly loyal..!!@ Roda .. I wud lyk to know wat yu think is the root cause for da same in yor veiws.. (12 years ago)

Roda, actually lots of reason. Woman are more independent, world is getting smaller and you can know many new person just like here. Life get more stress with everyone running forward (not sure to where) ... Maybe we need a break, still and think what we really seeking deep inside our own heart. (12 years ago)

@service, do you mean to say if we became contented for what we have, we will end up having more, but if we concentrate on things that we do not have we will never have enough?  (12 years ago)

I think the root cause is we misunderstood that materialistic possession is directly proportional to happiness. Here in Singapore the government has just a debate about is the growth of GDP directly related to happiness of the citizen. All being wanted to be happy, but we might have taken the wrong path. We always feel more is better, more money or even more woman (or man) etc etc. Have u seen this "" before ? It means less is equal to more! Make your want lesser and you will gain more! Cool ?  (12 years ago)

These r d days when two salaries come home, but divorces increase. These are times of finer houses, but more broken homes.. What do you think are the reasons why some families end up this way? please share your views. (12 years ago)
